Alison Luff and Matt Magnusson met, fell in love, formed a band, and eloped all in the fall of 2015.

Big Sur Bound (formally known as The Bones) is a complete blend of their own individual styles of music and is best described as a synergistic expression of their love for one another.

After only knowing each other three weeks they recorded their first demos at The Village Recorder in Los Angeles.

They later went on to record their first full length album in Silverlake, under the production of Marc Orrell with the generous funding of Executive Producer, Amy McClenathan.
